Procurement
In compliance with the Mining Charter and the Mineral and Petroleum Resource Development Act, the Group’s South African operations has implemented a BBBEE-focussed procurement policy which strongly encourages our suppliers to establish and maintain BBBEE credentials. We are very pleased to report that Black Wattle has achieved a level 3 BBBEE certificate for 2024. At present, 88 percent of the companies utilised by Black Wattle for equipment and services are BBBEE companies.
